Bilberry is a relative of the blueberry that is native to Northern Europe, but this fruit especially grows in Sweden, where nearly ⅕ of the land is covered in bilberry bushes. For centuries bilberries have been used for making tea, medicines, and desserts, and researchers provided them to the Royal Air Force during WWII to support eye health.
